THE GHOST TOWN

Living in society has been an instinctive need of man since the beginning of mankind.

People in cities, people in towns, have repetitive habits which are part of them and they repeat them one by one and again and again:

Welcome to the ghost town

- Residents never give up hope. They can fall a thousand times and even resign, but they always end up finding a reason to fulfill their dreams.

- Residents observed each other. Unthinking or instinctive, whatever the category to which they belong, they devote time wondering the people they saw.

- Residents create bonds of sympathy.  If there is someone in difficulty, they use to help the affected, but beware, never, never they are going to consider to put themselves in risk to help others.

- Residents have opnions about each other. As the time pass, is common to hear comments about who they do not get along with.

- Residents learn when to speak and when to remain in silence.

- Residents know sniff out dangerous situations. They smile. They nod. They curse.

- Some of them, who are called 'importants' hate what they do. They hate their jobs. They feel fulfilled, because it was very hard to get where they are. But still, they are not happy. They just believe it when they see their cards stuck on the wall.

- Those important residents look at the new ones, the new ones who aims to take their seats one day and hate them. It seems something nasty but maybe they are saying to them ' Be careful, this is not living, this is not for you'.

They are residents. They live in cities, in towns.

And when they all disappear, awakens the ghost town.

Awake while they sleep all.

And you stay there

Not alone anymore

We are two, enjoying it.

 Enjoying the ghost town.

DUERME EN PAZ AYLAN

NO CREZCAS MI NIÑO

NO CREZCAS JAMÁS,

LOS GRANDES AL MUNDO

LE HACEN MUCHO MAL.

EL HOMBRE AMBICIONA

CADA DÍA MÁS,

Y PIERDE EL CAMINO,

POR QUERER VOLAR.

SIGA SIENDO NIÑO

Y EN PAZ DORMIRÁ.

SIN GUERRAS,

NI MÁQUINAS DE CALCULAR.

Facundo Cabral

En memoria de Aylan Kurdi.
Si los seres humanos nos detuviéramos a pensar un poquito más en el prójimo antes de pensar solo en nosotros mismos, muchas guerras y conflictos se hubiera evitado la humanidad.
